This edition brings together inter-institutional collaboration across five institutions, all based in Indonesia, encompassing higher education and a central government ministry. Contributors hail from Institut Pemerintahan Dalam Negeri (IPDN), Universitas Muhammadiyah Malang, Universitas Gadjah Mada, Universitas Indonesia, and the Ministry of National Development Planning/Bappenas RI.

Overall, this issue addresses regional governance and policy innovation, covering social network analysis in regional inflation management, the utilization of the Regional Incentive Fund (DID) during the pandemic, e-Parking governance innovations, regional leadership styles in archipelagic territories, oil and gas sector management policies by local governments, and implementation strategies for Regional Government Transaction Electronification (ETPD).
