k. Post-Publication Discussion & Scientific Dialogue

Scientific inquiry thrives on constructive criticism and open dialogue. TRANSFORMASI: Jurnal Manajemen Pemerintahan provides a structured channel for post-publication discussion:

  • Letters to the Editor: Readers, researchers, and public practitioners are encouraged to submit academic commentaries, methodological critiques, or empirical replications regarding published articles.
  • Right of Reply: The original authors will be invited by the editorial board to provide a formal, evidence-based response.
  • Editorial Assessment: Substantive commentaries and author responses meeting scientific rigor will be published together in subsequent journal issues as linked editorial correspondence.
l. Correction, Expression of Concern & Retraction Policy

In accordance with COPE Guidelines for Retractions and Corrections, the journal maintains the historical integrity of its scholarly corpus through three mechanisms:

1. Erratum / Corrigendum (Corrections)

Issued when honest typographical, numerical, or formatting errors are discovered post-publication that do not compromise the core scientific findings or validity of the research conclusions. A formal correction notice will be published and bidirectional links established between the article and the notice.

2. Expression of Concern

Published if conclusive evidence regarding potential misconduct has not yet been established, but substantial, well-founded concerns have been brought to the attention of the editors pending full institutional investigation.

3. Formal Retraction

Executed in cases of severe unreliability, including proven data fabrication, pervasive plagiarism, unauthorized co-authorship, or fraudulent AI-generated analysis. The original PDF file will be preserved in the archive but prominently watermarked with a red "RETRACTED" stamp across all pages, linked to a detailed Retraction Note explaining the verified grounds.
