Institutional Background & Mission

Jurnal Teknologi dan Komunikasi Pemerintahan (JTKP) is a scholarly initiative established by the Government Information Technology Engineering Study Program (Teknologi Rekayasa Internet Perangkat / TRIP), Faculty of Government Management, Institut Pemerintahan Dalam Negeri (IPDN).

The journal was founded to foster, elevate, and expand the publication of rigorous academic works bridging modern computational systems with public administrative practices. Registered under ISSN 3032-4785 (online), JTKP is published regularly twice a year (in June and December).

The primary mission of the journal is the wide dissemination of conceptual frameworks, policy innovations, and empirical research findings that directly influence government technology architectures and public sector communication systems.

For the last three years, across its six published editions (Vol. 5 Issue 2 to Vol. 8 Issue 1), the journal demonstrates an expansive, cross-sector scholarly collaboration involving 31 unique institutions from 4 countries—Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, and the United States.
