PERAN DINAS PARIWISATA DAN EKONOMI KREATIF DALAM PENGEMBANGAN OBJEK WISATA PANTAI LASIANA DI KOTA KUPANG PROVINSI NUSA TENGGARA TIMUR

Abstrak

The overlapping status of public or private land ownership, and the lack of facilities and infrastructure available at Lasiana Beach are the focus of this research problem. The purpose of the study was to determine the general description of the role of the Department of Tourism and Creative Economy in the development of Lasiana Beach tourism objects. This research is a qualitative descriptive study in which the researcher conducted interviews with 13 informants, observed and documented as well as performed data 
analysis by reducing and presenting data, drawing conclusions. The research findings indicate that the lack of facilities provided by the local government, both in terms of quantity and quality, is one of the factors driving the interest of tourist visits. In addition, the dissemination of information carried out by the local government is considered less effective so that local governments need to pay attention to the quality of the information
presented in conducting promotions. The local community has been given training and coaching as well as socialization in the context of the government's role as therapy in the development of Lasiana Beach tourism objects. The conclusion of the study shows that the Department of Tourism and Creative Economy in Kupang City has carried out a role as a policy, strategy, communication tool, dispute resolution tool and therapy. However, there are still obstacles in its implementation. The author suggests that local governments can
formulate related policies, evaluate promotional activities that have been carried out and improve and improve Lasiana Beach tourist facilities.
