KEBIJAKAN SATU PETA DALAM MENDUKUNG PEMBANGUNAN NASIONAL
Abstract
Abstract
Since Indonesia became independent until the reign of President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono,
the Republic’s geospatial information or spatial map still has many differences.
This is because each Ministry of Religion/ Institution/ Region has their specifications or
standards. Responding to this matter the government has issued Presidential Regulation
of the Republic of Indonesia Number 9 of 2016 concerning Acceleration of Implementation
of One Map Policy at the Level of Accuracy of Maps 1: 50,000 Scale.
One map policy is aimed at solving data problems, especially non-standard and non-integrated
spatial data between institutions which are very difficult in making decisions
and development plans both at national and regional levels.
This research uses qualitative data analysis that is deductive with the data sources in this
study obtained from documents through literature studies related to one map policy and
national development. The results of this study show that in the implementation of one
map policy there are still some obstacles that are based on the many types of thematic
maps between Ministries/ Institutions/ Regions that must be synchronized to obtain an
appropriate and accurate thematic map. This one map policy is expected to be able to
fully support national development which aims to improve the welfare of the Indonesian
people.
