STRATEGI PEMERINTAH DAERAH DALAM MEWUJUDKAN PEMBANGUNAN BERKELANJUTAN DI SEKITAR KAWASAN INDUSTRI PULOGADUNG DKI JAKARTA

Abstract

Development undertaken by the government and private still poses a particularly negative impact on the environment. A bad environment will certainly affect the condition of society. Therefore, a balance should give attention to the development of economic, social and environmental, called Sustainable Development. Development in Industrial Estate Pulogadung not meet the elements of sustainable development, it can be seen from the urbanization, environmental pollution, slums, floods, fires and crime. Therefore, researchers are interested in discussing what strategies are used Jakarta regional government in realizing sustainable development around Puogadung Industrial Zone.

The method used in this research is qualitative descriptive with quantitative data usage. The data used are primary data and secondary data. Informants and respondents involved in this study amounted to 81 people who are environmental experts, environmental law enforcement officers, Pulogadung Industrial Zone and society. The technique of collecting data through interviews, observation, documentation and questionnaires were analyzed using triangulation techniques, swot analysis and AHP. The research instrument is the researcher himself.

The conclusion of this research are: The strategy derived from the SWOT analysis include: Intensifying supervision of industrial activities; Encourage and facilitate community-based environmental education; Providing training to employees; Socializing environmentally friendly waste management to the public; Holding regular coordination with other areas to minimize urbanization; Tightening enforcement against companies that violate the rules; Encourage stakeholders to care for the environment; and Doing the physical and inner guidance to the public. Recommendations for this research are: Optimizing supervision; Local governments need to facilitate stakeholders to be more concerned about the environment; Local governments should cooperate with local governments; and area managers should make the lagoon area.
