About the Journal

Focus and Scope

Jurnal Ilmiah Administrasi Pemerintahan Daerah (JIAPD) is a peer-reviewed academic journal published biannually in June and December. It is published by the Postgraduate School of the Institut Pemerintahan Dalam Negeri (IPDN), Indonesia, in collaboration with government-related professional institutions. JIAPD serves as a platform for publishing research findings, scientific insights, and strategic studies specializing in governmental sciences and local government administration.

The journal welcomes research articles covering a wide spectrum of public-sector topics, including:

  • Governance & Policy: Good governance, government politics, public policy, and government legislation.
  • Autonomy & Development: Decentralization, regional autonomy, regional development, and community empowerment.
  • Management & Finance: Regional and village financial management, local government resources, and public sector human resources.
  • Public Protection: Public safety and community protection.
