VILLAGE GOVERNMENT STRATEGIES IN DEVELOPING BUMDES TARUMAJAYA IN THE UPSTREAM CITARUM RIVER AREA OF BANDUNG DISTRICT

Abstrak

The aims from this research to know and draw the strategy development of Village Owned Enterprise Tarumajaya in Tarumajaya Village, Kertasari Sub-district, Bandung District. This research focuses on the strategy of the village government in developing Village Owned Enterprise Tarumajaya based on the strategy theory by Mintzberg at al.,with 3 (three) indicators. This research uses a qualitative inductive method. Purposive sampling is used to determine informants from the Tarumajaya Village Government as the strategy designer and Tarumajaya Village residents as the target of Village Owned Enterprise development. Data collection is done by observation, documentation, and interview. The data analysis technique uses presentation, reduction, and conclusion. The results of this study are the strategy used by the Tarumajaya Village government in developing Village Owned Enterprise is to maximize the potential of the existing village, the Tarumajaya Village Owned Enterprise development strategy although it has not been running optimally, and there are still some shortcomings in its implementation such as not optimal management carried out by Village Owned Enterprise management, and limited budget so that the researcher concludes that the Tarumajaya Village Owned Enterprise development strategy has been implemented well but has not run optimally and needs to be improved.
