Abstrak

The study aims to analyze the impact of the Village Fund policy that has been implemented in Indonesia since 2015 towards the welfare of the community. The Village Fund Study was conducted in Cileles Village, Jatinangor District, Sumedang Regency, West Java Province. This research method is descriptive qualitative research. This study finds that the Village Fund policy is a paved way to improve community welfare if it is managed in a transparent, precise, trusted and organized way. The findings of this study lead to two things. First, a structural and legal mechanism is needed to ensure that the community is actively involved in the formulation of village fund policies, and their voices are prioritized in village development planning. Second, good village financial management is the first step towards improving welfare. The recommendation of this study is that the use of village funds directed at infrastructure development to can involve workers from the poor, and the results of this development have a direct relationship to increasing community income.
