Paminggir Village, Garut City District, is a densely populated area prone to flooding due to the accumulation of waste in the Cimanuk River and drainage channels. This problem is exacerbated by limited waste transportation capacity, low public awareness of household waste management, and the absence of standardized Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) at the village level. The Community Service Program aims to provide comprehensive solutions thru the preparation of SOP documents and education on waste sorting. The methods used include focus group discussions (FGDs), the preparation of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for waste management, and education on the importance of waste management. The results of the activity show an increase in the capacity of village officials, RWs, RTs, and the community in designing technical regulations, as well as an increase in residents' awareness of waste sorting. In conclusion, this PKM program successfully had a positive impact both physically and socially, and built an institutional foundation for the sustainability of community-based waste management in Paminggir Village.
