Abstract

The role of subdistrict head as Land-Deed Official (PPAT) in Suradadi’s subdistrict is needed. The role of subdistrict head is important to improve the ownership of land’s certificate in Suradadi’s subdistrict. The purpose of this study is to know the role of subdistrict head as PPAT at Suradadi’s subdistrict, inhibit factor in making land’s certificate, and to know the subdistrict head’s effort in improving the ownership of land’s certificate in Suradadi’s subdistrict. This study using qualitative descriptive research methods with inductive approach. Authors choose interview, observation, and literature study (documentations) as data collection techniques. Data analysis technique used is data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. Based on the results of research and discussion, we can conclude that the role of subdistrict head as Land-Deed Official (PPAT) is still needed in land administration services to improve the ownership of land’s certificate in Suradadi’s district, including as coordinator, facilitator, and mediator of making land deed. The role of subdistrict to provide land administration services in Suradadi’s subdistrict already be said to be good, because subdistrict doing their duties accordance with applicable regulations, one of this is the cost of making land deed.
