This research departs from the background of the low discipline of the civil servant (ASN). This study aims to raise awareness of the importance of discipline for as the executor of the state administrator in order to realize good governance. Since the establishment or collapse of the state depends on its human resources, it needs to be concerned. The benefits of this research are expected to contribute to the development of the empowerment of ASN disciplines as government officials, state servants and public servants who can also contribute thoughts and discourses in the clean administration and authoritative government, especially in terms of implementing personnel regulations for ASN. This study uses the type of empirical research. Empirical research is field research based on literature, namely research on primary and secondary legal materials. It stuides the written rules in legislation, norms, or other rules as well as conducting interviews with respondents and through direct observation. The results of the study show that there are still disciplinary violations committed by ASN so that it worsens the image of the Indonesian state bureaucracy and the performance of the ASN itself. Efforts to improve ASN discipline continue to be carried out in order to improve ASN discipline itself.
