This research seeks to outline the forthcoming elderly demographic and suggest strategies that correspond with this emerging trend. This research employs a dual methodology, integrating numerical data analysis with descriptive insights. The methodology utilizes the cohort component projection approach alongside content analysis. Data was obtained through secondary surveys by extracting data from existing literature. The results indicate that by 2050, there will be a significant rise in the elderly demographic, which will directly impact the old-age dependency ratio, necessitating proactive measures to address this concern. The Surabaya City Government can pursue initiatives aligned with the Age-Friendly City concept, though enhancements across various dimensions of this framework are necessary beforehand.

Keywords: Cohort Component Projection, Ageing Population, and Age-Friendly City.
2024-11-30T15:12:01+00:00##submission.copyrightStatement##https://ejournal.ipdn.ac.id/JPDPP/article/view/4340THE EFFECTIVENESS OF THE PROSPEROUS HOUSING PROGRAM IN HULU SUNGAI SELATAN REGENCY AT SOUTH KALIMANTAN PROVINCE2024-11-30T16:10:36+00:00Mochammad Syachrur Sukmanasyachrur.s77@gmail.comSelvia Junita PrajaSelvia@ipdn.ac.id
Abstract: This research was initiated due to the level of social welfare of the community in Hulu Sungai Selatan Regency is still relatively low, which is characterized by the large number of uninhabitable residences. The aim of this research is to assess the effectiveness of the Prosperous Housing Program (PRS) policy stipulated in Hulu Sungai Selatan Regency Regent Regulation No. 25 of 2015 concerning Integrated Regional Poverty Management in Hulu Sungai Selatan Regency in increasing the number of livable housing for the community in Hulu Sungai Selatan Regency as well as knowing the obstacle factors, and the efforts to solve them. This research used a descriptive qualitative research method with an inductive approach. Data collection technique used in this research were interviews, documents and data, as well as observation. Interviews were conducted with related parties. Researchers also analysed the data using Riant Nugroho's theory regarding Policy Effectiveness. The research results show that the implementation of the Prosperous Housing Program (PRS) in improving the quality of community housings can be said to be successful and effective because it meets the achievement targets every year. However, there are still several obstacles to implementing this program. These obstacles are influenced by several factors, including lack of coordination between program implementing parties, short program implementation time, limited workforce and land ownership problems. Meanwhile, the efforts to solve the obstacles include forming a coordination team, careful time planning, increasing the quality and quantity of labour and providing information regarding land ownership.

Keywords: Policy Effectiveness, Habitable Housings, Community.
2024-11-30T15:20:27+00:00##submission.copyrightStatement##https://ejournal.ipdn.ac.id/JPDPP/article/view/4821THE IMPLEMENTATION OF THE VILLAGE FUND IN AN UNDERDEVELOPED VILLAGE: A CASE STUDY OF TENDE VILLAGE, GALANG SUB-DISTRICT, TOLITOLI REGENCY2024-11-30T16:10:37+00:00Abdul Wahid Safarabdul.wahid.safar@gmail.comAhmad Syahrial Semen DawaiAhmad.syahrial.s@mail.ugm.ac.idNursam NursamNursam94@mail.ugm.ac.id
This study aims to explore the implementation of Village Fund management in Tende Village,
Galang Sub-district, Tolitoli Regency, Central Sulawesi Province. This study employs qualitative
research with a case study approach. The data collection techniques used were observation, in-depth
interviews, and documentation from primary and secondary sources. This study discovered that the
implementation of Village Fund at the planning level could accommodate community aspirations.
Development in the infrastructure sector had a significant impact on the community. However, the
negative side of Village Fund implementation is the dominance of the Activity Implementation Team
(TPK), which does not involve the community in implementation, especially in infrastructure
development. Furthermore, due to the limited bureaucracy, the disbursement of the Village Fund took
a considerable amount of time. In addition, the Village Fund had implications for decreasing the social
capital of village communities. This study argues that the utilization of Village Fund should be tailored
to the specific conditions of each village.
mendorong terjadinya aglomerasi industri.

Kata Kunci: Aglomerasi, Pertumbuhan Ekonomi, Wilayah Industri.
2024-11-30T15:59:44+00:00##submission.copyrightStatement##https://ejournal.ipdn.ac.id/JPDPP/article/view/4775DOES GENDER EQUALITY IMPACT REGIONAL ECONOMIC GROWTH?:2024-11-30T16:10:38+00:00Aditya Muhammad Mudzakiradmudzakir@gmail.comShintia Rahmadinishintia.rahmadini@gmail.com
This research aims to examine the impact of gender equality on regional development, represented by regional economic growth. The analysis applies econometric methods to panel data from 27 districts/cities in West Java Province for the 2018–2022 period, with the Common Effect Model (CEM) selected as the optimal regression model for this study. Gender equality is represented by indicators such as the ratio of female to male in per capita expenditure, mean years of schooling, life expectancy, and labor force participation rate. The findings reveal heterogeneous effects: gender equality in per capita expenditure, education, and health positively influences economic growth, with health, as measured by life expectancy, being the most significant factor. Conversely, the labor force participation rate exhibits a negative effect, indicating challenges in optimizing female's roles in the labor market. Overall, the study finds that gender equality development contributes 12.34% to West Java's economic growth. These findings highlight the need to provide equal opportunities for female by enhancing access to education, healthcare, and economic resources while addressing barriers in labor force participation to achieve inclusive and sustainable development.
Keywords: Econometrics Analysis, Economic Growth, Gender Equality, Regional Development.
2024-11-30T16:05:01+00:00##submission.copyrightStatement##
